n a small rural school with four special education teachers, serving Kindergarten through twelfth grade. Through multiple reviews of progress monitoring data, we found our students were not making as much growth as we would expect and looked for another way to collect data and inform instruction. We began the process of standards-based progress monitoring through breaking down the data and finding the gaps that students had.  Our students have made very strong growth over a short period of time.
